A recently released video has exposed one of the UK's largest Ponzi schemes, orchestrated by Chris Lightbody, Jonathan Lightbody, and Scott Bithel through Gallant Building Services Limited.

The scam, which involved fabricating a high-profile contract with Travelodge and Samsung Aircon, lured investors with promises of secure, high-return projects. Over £30 million was invested, with the scheme involving high-profile investors and aggressive recruitment tactics.

The company had three primary shareholders: Chris Lightbody, Scott Bithel, and Four Sides LLC, owned by the Andretti family, though there is no clear evidence that the Andretti family was involved in the fraudulent activities.

Despite concerns, the Lightbodys convinced many by flaunting a luxurious lifestyle and hosting extravagant social events.

In August 2024, Chris Lightbody abruptly claimed mental illness and cut contact with investors while continuing to attend social events. Meanwhile, Jonathan Lightbody began selling off assets, raising suspicions about their financial collapse.
 

This scam has left countless victims devastated, with many losing their life savings, homes, and retirement funds. In September 2024, the Andretti family withdrew from the company, but questions remain about the timing and their awareness of the fraud.|
